I'll just assume if you're here, you've read Jared and Andrew's posts, if not there are the links. If not, honestly just close this post and don't waste your time.

The last couple of days have seen a very public name calling, less from Jared's side, more from Andrew's, but you have people in the comments on both taking insane positions.

Here's a simple habit to get into, if you want to write posts like either Jared or Andrew, ask yourself this question before you hit publish: "If people read this exactly as written, will they react the way I actually want them to?"

If the answer isn't immediately "yes," then edit it.

That single question forces you to clarify your real goal and check whether your current tone will achieve it. It doesn't mean avoiding hard truths, it means delivering them in a way that's more likely to be heard instead of triggering the tribal nature of humans.

That seems like a good tihng.
